KNOCHE FIELDMAX Field Rollers and Grassland Rollers

A high-quality, durable field roller is indispensable on modern farms. Whether for rolling grain, reconsolidating the soil after seeding, stubble cultivation, or rolling grassland—the demands placed on a roller are diverse. This is precisely where KNOCHE field rollers demonstrate their strengths.

Optimal ground adaptation thanks to standard double joint

A key advantage of all KNOCHE field rollers is the standard double-joint. This allows the individual roller elements to swing freely and adapt optimally to the respective soil conditions. Unevenness is reliably compensated for, resulting in uniform reconsolidation and a clean finish. Especially on varying terrain, this technology ensures excellent ground adaptation and smooth machine operation.

The right ring configuration for every application

Depending on requirements and application, KNOCHE offers various ring types:

  • 510 mm Cambridge rings

  • 500 mm star rings

  • 500 mm Crosskill rings

  • 600 mm Cambridge rings on select machines

This allows the roller to be optimally adapted to the respective soil conditions and working methods. Whether for fine-crumb seedbed preparation, intensive reconsolidation, or grassland maintenance—the right ring configuration is available for every application.

Durable roller rings made of break-resistant cast iron

The roller rings are manufactured from particularly high-quality, break-resistant cast iron. This ensures they are highly durable and have a long service life. Even under demanding operating conditions, the rings remain dimensionally stable and reliable.

High-strength CrMo shafts for maximum safety

Another important aspect for many customers is the design of the shafts. KNOCHE relies on high-strength CrMo steel, which is known for its exceptional strength and load-bearing capacity.

In addition, the shafts were deliberately designed to be no longer than two meters. This significantly reduces vibrations and minimizes the risk of material fatigue or breakage. The result is a particularly robust and durable design that operates reliably even under high loads.

Standard with individual operating permit documents

A major advantage of KNOCHE field rollers is that they can be delivered with individual operating permit documents upon request. This lays the foundation for safe transport and use on public roads.

Of particular interest are the various models in the FIELDMAX series:

FIELDMAX 620

The FIELDMAX 620 stands out above all for its low weight. In its standard configuration, it can be transported on public roads without brakes or an operating permit due to its weight of less than 3.0 tons. This makes it particularly flexible and economical.

FIELDMAX 780

The FIELDMAX 780 does not require brakes in its standard configuration. However, Individual operating permit documents are required.

FIELDMAX 820 and larger

Starting with the FIELDMAX 820, both a brake and Individual operating permit documents (EBE) are required. KNOCHE delivers the necessary equipment directly from the factory.

Wide selection also available for mounted models

In addition to trailed large-area rollers, KNOCHE also offers a wide range of products in the mounted sector. With working widths from 2.5 to 5.2 meters, there is a suitable solution for virtually every farm size and every tractor.

The right roller for every task

Whether for rolling grain, dragging grassland, reconsolidating after seeding, or after stubble cultivation—KNOCHE’s FIELDMAX field rollers reliably support farmers in all key work steps.

Through a combination of intelligent technology, robust construction, durable materials, and practical features, KNOCHE field rollers offer exactly what modern agriculture demands today: efficiency, reliability, and maximum operational safety.
